que Soñaba en el piano

3:00

About the track

I wrote this song while sitting at the piano after receiving unexpected criticism from someone close to me about a musical collaboration. I was trying to process the response and the doubt it created. Was my judgment that far off? Could I no longer distinguish between something good and something sloppy? Was I becoming sloppy myself? The experience deeply unsettled me, and the song emerged from that confusion.

Mood and atmosphere

Cinematic, Dreamlike, Reflective, Peaceful

Genre and musical style

New Age / meditative, Singer songwriter

Instrumentation and sound

Piano, voice

Scene or visual suggestion

A quiet room after a difficult conversation. The piano remains still while the same words replay in the mind, creating a pause filled with questions. Nothing outwardly changes, but the familiar space feels different as confidence quietly gives way to uncertainty.

David Jones Snow

3:16

About the track

You want a tense song? David Jones Snow is your song. It answers the doubts raised by the previous track. Forget all of that. This is my world, and I create the sounds I want. I am willing to be vulnerable and share their chaos because they express something real to me. It is the feeling of saying, “Oh yes. No one is stopping me. Here we go again.”

Mood and atmosphere

Atmospheric, Cinematic, Tense, Nightmare

Genre and musical style

Cinematic / soundtrack, Contemporary instrumental, Neoclassical / piano led

Instrumentation and sound

Piano, synths

Scene or visual suggestion

A boat pushes forward through towering waves, carried by a melody that refuses to stop. The wind and water scrape against the skin, leaving scars from the journey, yet the boat continues through the storm regardless.

Dream 2

3:15

About the track

This song builds on the foundation of another song that is dear to me, using its powerful synths to create something energetic and fun. My sister felt inspired by the music and sent me a set of English lyrics. I selected the lines that fit the song, edited them, and incorporated some of them into the final version. I sing them with a strong accent, since Spanish is my first language, and I embrace that playfulness throughout the track. At one point, I even say, “I don’t even know what I said, for real.”

Mood and atmosphere

Atmospheric, Cinematic, Dreamlike, Tense, Dynamic

Genre and musical style

Cinematic / soundtrack, Ambient / atmospheric, Contemporary instrumental, Neoclassical / piano led, Singer songwriter

Instrumentation and sound

Piano, synths, voices

Scene or visual suggestion

A woman sits motionless in the center of a room while everything around her continues to move. She feels defeated, and even as she travels from place to place, the same pain follows and weighs on her. Life begins to feel like sleepwalking through a dream until she can no longer tell whether she is awake, asleep, or simply going through the motions. Exhausted, she wants only to return to sleep and dream again.

(Cough) How did we get stuck in time? We’re drowning in our words. I’m laughing at myself. Same old dumb story again. Can you see it now? I only ask for sympathy. There’s so much pain in me. Can you see it now? I only ask for sympathy. There’s so much pain in me. (Run, run, run. Run, run, run.) Hope went down the drain. I’ve betrayed the rain. Come fix me now. I finally gave in, And now my head is down on my knees. (I don’t even know what I said.) It’s been a long ride. Can you let me go to sleep? (Go back and dream.) It’s been a long day. It’s been a long way. It’s been a long way. Go back and dream. It’s been a long dream. Go back to dreaming.

Tortilla Song

2:23

About the track

Tortilla Song is a funny song to me. It is tense and loud, yet it makes a quiet statement. It may seem like I do not know what I am doing, but I actually have a clear direction. It is playful, energetic, and filled with the sound of trumpets.

Mood and atmosphere

Atmospheric, Cinematic, Tense

Genre and musical style

Cinematic / soundtrack, Ambient / atmospheric, Contemporary instrumental, Neoclassical / piano led, Electronic / experimental

Instrumentation and sound

Electronic trumpets, synths, processed piano

Scene or visual suggestion

A form holds the marks left by pressure. Those traces gradually become part of its character, revealing something authentic and individual. The scene carries tension and playfulness together: an apparent imperfection can belong to a clear creative direction.

Wait for me UNO

3:42

About the track

In music, counting is very important, especially finding your way back to the first beat so everything stays consistent. I sometimes struggle with that, so this song represents my constant chase of the one. That is why it is called “Wait for Me, Uno.” I am calling out, “Wait for me! Uno, wait!” The song turns that musical chase into its own story.

Mood and atmosphere

Atmospheric, Cinematic, Dreamlike, Ethereal, Warm, Peaceful

Genre and musical style

New Age / meditative, Cinematic / soundtrack, Ambient / atmospheric, Contemporary instrumental, Neoclassical / piano led

Instrumentation and sound

Paino, synths

Scene or visual suggestion

Numbers move in a repeating circle while the number one keeps slipping just out of reach. Each time the rhythm seems ready to settle, the pattern shifts and the chase begins again. The scene feels playful rather than desperate, like trying to catch the first beat before the music moves forward without you.
